BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Union University placed 14 student-athletes on the Gulf South Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll for 2023.
 
Among the honor roll recipients from Union, women's Basketball Shanique Lucas was named to the GSC Women's Basketball All-Academic team.
 
A total of 429 student-athletes across four sports from all 13 members were named to the honor roll. This list includes student-athletes with at least a 3.0 GPA and participation versus outside competition in their sport. 
 
Men's basketball placed four on the honor roll including JC Clausi, Dusan Djordjevic, Will Jackson, and Ivan Prug.
 
Women's basketball placed 10 on the honor roll including Leah Cauble, Leah Church, Bethany Dillard, Keisharna Lucas, Shanique Lucas, Anna McCredy, Shylee Morrison, Sierra Stedman, Naomi Van Nes, and Lauren West
