Union University Athletics

The Athletics Leadership Circle (ALC) is comprised of respected community leaders and faithful supporters who believe that Athletics is one of the best ways to impact young people in today's world. These leaders and supporters believe in God, they believe in “Building Families”, and they believe that coaches have a unique opportunity to impact lives through sport.

The ALC believes this at its core, and it believes in the mission of Union University. This mission provides a Christ Centered education while pursuing great relationship with God and others. The ALC families will work alongside the University to plant seeds in the minds and hearts of Union University student-athletes so that they can leave this place using their giftedness to make an impact in this World for the Gospel.
 

Our coaches will be focused on building deep and meaningful relationships with their players. They will pursue Excellence in every area of their program. They know that Heart Change is the prayer and they have the opportunity to build a culture that facilitates this kind of impact.
 

Athletics Leadership Circle investors typically make an annual gift of $10,000 or more to the Union Athletics Excellence Fund, providing support for the Athletics department’s highest priorities. Through their financial assistance, the Athletic Department will be able to walk out our mission more effectively and student-athletes will have the opportunity to grow in every area as we invest in their lives relationally every day. ALC investors make a measurable and immediate impact at UU by:

• Investing in the present and future of Union University Athletics
• Setting an example of service and generosity for UU students
• Witnessing the impact of the investment on UU students
• Witnessing their impact on the coaches as they are engaged in the process of living out the
  mission of Union University through sport

In addition to recognition the Athletics Leadership Circle receives at the end of the year Banquet, ALC investors are provided a number of opportunities throughout the academic year to know the student-athletes. The ALC will get firsthand access to the impact that is happening within the individual through our Player Letter Program.
