JACKSON, Tenn.- The Union Men's Cross Country team posted a 24^th place finish at the Chile Pepper Classic hosted by the University of Arkansas. The 8k event featured 30 teams and 285 runners.

The Bulldogs posted a 2:12:23 run time with an average of 26:28.60. This team time is 7^th fastest in program history.

Aaron Fynaardt finished with a 25:07.50, making it the 9^th fastest time in program history.

Host University of Arkansas was first (40 points) while two fellow GSC members, Mississippi College and West Alabama, finished 17th and 25th, respectively.

Following Fynaardt was Benjamin Blackwood 121^st, Noah Jinks 125^th, Luke Winkleman 167^th, Joseph Hamilton 173^rd, and Reed Steiner 184^th.

Up next for Union will be the Watson Cross Country Classic, Saturday, October 17^th at 8 a.m. hosted by Mississippi College.
