Box Score 3 ROME, Ga. - The Union University baseball team finished their season today with a win over Shorter University, who is receiving votes in the national poll. The Bulldogs won the series winning game one 8-6, losing game two 8-7, and winning game three 13-11. The Bulldogs finished their season 15-21 overall, and 13-20 in the GSC.

In game one, Shorter struck first scoring two runs in the second inning, but not before Union scored three to take the lead in the third inning. In the inning the Bulldogs scored the first run thanks to a ball hit to the outfield that was dropped, scoring
Ryan Lee.

Josh Bozoian who went 2-5 with three RBI's.
Patrick Music went 1-3 with two RBI's, and
Austin Zeitler went 1-3 with two RBI's. On the mound,
Walker Adkisson started pitching 1.2 innings.
Ryan Middleton got the win, pitching 1.2 innings with no runs allowed, and three strikeouts.

In game two, Union lost 8-7 after holding the lead for the first eight innings. The Bulldogs were led by
Britt Netterville who went 2-4 with two RBI's, and
Ryan Lee who went 1-4 with two RBI's. On the mound
Luke Williamson started, pitching five innings with one earned run allowed, three hits, and eight strikeouts.

In game three, Union took an 11 run lead into the third inning. Shorter worked their way back cutting the score to 12-11. Union would score one more and hold off Shorter with a 13-11 win to finish the season. Union was led by
Patrick Music who went 2-5 with two RBI's,
Josh Bozoian who went 2-4 with two RBI's,
Austin Zeitler who went 3-5 with two RBI's, and
Ben Smith who went 1-4 with two RBI's. On the mound,
Sam McMillin got the win, starting and pitching four innings with eight hits, four earned runs, and five strikeouts.
Ryan Middleton got the save with two innings pitched, only one hit, and three strikeouts.
