CARROLLTON, Ga. - The Union University softball team dropped a series Sunday afternoon on the road at the University of West Georgia. The Bulldogs efforts' fell short losing game one 6-2, game two 7-3, and game three 4-3. With the loss, the Bulldogs dropped to 4-27 overall, and 3-20 in the Gulf South Conference.

In game one, the Lady Bulldogs were led by
Samantha McDaniel who went 2-3 scoring one run with both the teams RBI's.
Tori York went 2-2,
Alyssa Ward went 1-4,
Sarah Smith went 1-3 scoring one run, and
Gabby Morris went 1-3.

In game two, West Georgia struck first, scoring one run in the bottom of the first and again in the bottom of the fourth. The Lady Bulldogs scratched across three in the top of the seventh, however West Georgia scored one more tying the game at 3-3. It took two extra innings to complete, but in the bottom of the ninth West Georgia hit a walk-off grand slam to end the game at 7-3. The Lady Bulldogs were led by McDaniel once again who got 1 hit on three at-bats, with one RBI.
Harley Bartholomew went 1-5 with one RBI.
Alyssa Ward went 1-5 scoring one run.
Tori York went 2-4.
