JACKSON, Tenn- Union Women's Volleyball opened up Family Weekend with a GSC match up against #17 West Florida.
The night started with a close race to 25 points. The first set showed promise from Lady Bulldog offense, who were able to put 21 points on the board.
The second two sets were a different story. Nationally ranked West Florida where able to respond by closing out the night in three straight sets.
Game leaders for the Lady Bulldogs in
Carleigh Charles, leading the blitz with 6 kills, followed by
Parker Goff and
Elizabeth Gilbert with 4 apiece.
Assists were handled by
Ashley Pruitt and
Kylie Creech, both tallying 7 on the match.
The Lady Bulldogs with return to the Fred Delay Gymnasium tomorrow afternoon to face off against Valdosta State. First serve is at 1:00 p.m.
