Before Union
Pruitt prepped at Briarcrest Christian High School (Eads, Tenn.) where she was part of four Tennessee State Volleyball Championships. She played nine years of volleyball and ran track for one year. She was captain of the volleyball team during her junior and senior years of high school. 

Pruitt has earned numerous awards, including Most Improved, MVP, and Captain's Award. She was named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TWSA) All-State Team in 2021 and 2022. She was part of the 2022 AVCA All America Watch List and was named AVCA Player of the Week for Tennessee 8/22/22. She was a 2022 Commercial Appeal Volleyball Athlete of the Year Finalist and a 2022 Daily Memphian Volleyball Athlete of the Year Finalist. She was named to the 2021 All-Region D-II AA West First Team and the 
2021 Daily Memphian All-Metro Team. She was also the Tennessee assists leader for the 2021 season with 1,183.

Off the court, Pruitt was named to the honor roll.
