2025 (freshman season)

Before Union
Gilbert prepped at McCracken County High School where she started all four years for the varsity volleyball team. She also played five years of club volleyball at Southern Kentucky Elite Volleyball Academy and the West Kentucky Volleyball Club. She led her high school team to four straight district and region titles, never losing a set or match. Gilbert was named all-district twice, all-region, a four-time academic all-state, team captain, earned the Coaches Award, and Most Solo Blocks Award. Gilbert led her teams to the Kentucky state tournament Sweet 16 all four years and three times to the quarterfinals in a state with one division for all high school volleyball teams. She finished high school with a 125-37 overall record. Off the court, Gilbert was the senior class Valedictorian, a member of the National Honor Society, Young Life, FCA leader, and scholar.
