Lady Bulldogs drop first GSC road match to Trevecca

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Lady Bulldogs took the road to Nashville for their first conference matchup against the Lady Trojans of Trevecca Nazarene. Union fell in the first three sets (17-25, 26-20, 15-25, 21).
 
Freshman Elizabeth Gilbert led the Lady Bulldogs in kills with a total of 8, followed by Carleigh Charles and Parker Goff, both with 6 kills and 4 kills respectively.
 
Ashley Pruitt led in assists, collecting 12 along with 3 digs.
 
Sydney Davis picked up 3 aces, followed by Marie Torosian and Sarah-Kate Savage with 1 a piece.
 
The Lady Bulldogs return to Jackson to prepare for a weekend at home. They face off against West Florida (9/26), the current GSC leader, then Valdosta (9/27) in the Fred Delay Gymnasium.
