JACKSON, TENN. – The Union University baseball team lost to the Trojans of Trevecca Nazarene Tuesday night. The final score after nine innings was 10-5. Union falls to 8-15 overall on the season as the Trojans improve to 5-9.
The Trojans were led by Shawn Wallwork who went 2-4 with a walk. David Milam led their team with two RBI. Mason wells got the win for the Trojans throwing two and two thirds innings allowing one run on one hit and earning two strikeouts.
Britt Netterville and
Carson Chavies led Union both going 2-4 with two RBI. Netterville picked up his two RBI when he homered in the seventh inning.
Mitch Sisk started on the mound for Union throwing four innings allowing four runs on five hits. Six other Bulldog's threw in relief.
Up next for Union is a conference series on the road. They will travel to Cleveland, Miss. to take on Delta State University. The first game of the series is set to take place Friday, March 17 at 5 p.m.
