MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Union University softball team dropped a series against No. 9 nationally ranked Auburn Montgomery this past weekend. They lost the first game 2-10, the second 0-8, and the third 0-8. Union fell to 13-24 overall on the season and 7-14 in the Gulf South Conference. AUM improved to 30-6 overall and 18-3 in league play.
Harley Bartholomew,
Bryleigh Carneal, and
Morgan Jennings led the team this week offensively. Carneal went 3-7, Bartholomew went 2-6, and Jennings went 2-8 with a double.
Up next for Union is a Conference series at home against the University of West Alabama. The first game of the series is set to take place Friday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m.
