JACKSON, Tenn. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has released the 2022 CSC Academic All-District Teams for women's soccer. Union University's
Rylee Iorio,
Sylvana Kempka,
Lilly Ludwig,
Claire Maxon,
Hannah Patterson, and
Holly Trisdale were named to the team.

Iorio, from Columbia, Illinois, finished the 2022 season with 15 starts out of 16 games, 109 saves, and four shutouts as a goalkeeper. Kempka, from Ahrensburg, Germany, finished the season with seven starts, two goals, one assist, and 12 shots as a forward. Ludwig, from Stuttgart, Germany, finished the season with 13 starts, one goal, and 16 shots as a midfielder. Maxon, from Henderson, Tennessee, finished the season with 16 starts, one goal, two assists, and 17 shots as a forward. Patterson, from Bartlett, Tennessee, finished the season with 16 starts, two assists, and nine shots as a defender. Trisdale, from Brandon, Mississippi, finished the season with 14 starts, two goals, and 11 shots as a forward.

The 2022 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
