JACKSON, Tenn.- The Lady Bulldogs took a trip to Quincey, Ill. To take on the Hawks for the last non-conference game of the season.
Rebekah Jackson would open up the match by putting Union on the scoreboard in the 10
th minute with her first goal of the season, assisted by
Paige Blackburn and
Lucia Revuelto.
Jackson's goal would conclude scoring on both sides for the first half. However, before the half was over, Quincy's Reese Wingbermuehle would pick up a yellow card in the 43
rd minute.
The second half showcased a hard-fought match up between the Lady Bulldogs and the Hawks. Union tallied 10 shots to Quincy's 8, though neither could find the back of the net until Quincy was given a penalty kick in the 74
th minute.
Quincy's Rheinheimer took advantage of the PK, tying up the scoreboard and preventing a non conference loss.

Dehlia Placie and
Antia Lopez Rodriguez split time, both tallying 45 minutes a piece. Placie picked up one save in her half, and Lopez was a little busier, collecting 3 saves on the afternoon.
Union will prep for GSC play, kicking off the season with Christian Brothers University on September 21
.
