JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University men's golf team posted a sixth-place finish at the Grover Page Classic hosted by the University of Tennessee at Martin. The 54-hole event was played at the Jackson Country Club and featured 16 teams with 92 golfers.Â
Union was sixth with a score of 872 after rounds of 294, 290, and 288. UT Martin won the event with a 3-round total of 852. Of the sixteen teams in the event, 14 were division 1.Â
Union freshman
Gray Campbell posted a top-10 finish, tied for seventh. He posted a first round 69, followed by rounds of 72 and 71 for his 212 (-4). Matthis Besard of Southern Illinois won the event with a 201 (-15).Â

Up next for Union will be the Tulsa Cup hosted by Rogers State University, Oct. 24-26 in Claremore, Okla.Â
