BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- On October 2^nd, the GSC named Andrew Westmoreland GSC Golfer of the week. This award encompasses performances from September 25-30.

This is Westmoreland's first GSC weekly award of the 2025-26 season. The honor follows his first career victory carding 69-68-67 as he shot a 204 12-under par at the Battle for the Belt in Hot Springs, Ark.

Westmoreland shot 17 birdies during the three-round event. He led the field with consistent play across all three days, securing the individual title and helping pace the Bulldogs to a strong second place team finish.

Up next for Union will be the Derral Foreman Invitational, October 20-21, in Cleveland, Mississippi hosted by Delta State University.
