JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University men's golf team finished 10th at the Sam Dunning Invitational hosted by Delta State University. The 3-round event took place at Old Waverly Golf Club in Moss Point, Mississippi and featured 14 teams with 74 golfers.

Union shot +11 in the first round to settle in 10th. The Bulldogs struggled with a +20 in the second round Monday afternoon to drop to 11th overall. In the final round, Union added another +11 to climb a spot to finish in 10th.

Jackson native Trace Robinson saved his best for the final round to finish in 16th place overall to lead Union. He fired an even par score in Tuesday's final round after posting a +2 in both rounds Monday. His final round included an eagle on the par-5 second hole. Robinson recorded nine birdies in the event. He finished 4-over for the event.

Andrew Westmoreland was Union's second-best finisher in 30th place with a +11. He was +4 after two rounds on Monday, including a 1-over par second round. He finished the tournament with nine birdies, including four straight in the final round.

Freshman Lane Carr finished 35th at 13-over par. He posted an even par for the first round, but was 13-over for the final two rounds. He finished with eight birdies.
