MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Union University volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season in a 3-0 (25-15, 25-23 ,25-21) setback to Lynn University Saturday afternoon to close out the Christian Brothers University Classic. Union dropped to 2-1 on the season, while Lynn moved to 5-0. 

Lynn used a strong offensive attack to earn the win, hitting .417 with 51 kills in the match. Union hit a respectable .245 with 39 kills. Lynn held advantages in blocks (6-2) and aces (2-1) also. 

Union was led by Meghan Delaney with 12 kills and Kristen Bukowsky with 10 kills. Jordan Vick led wit 26 assists. Emily Grace Calhoon had the team's only ace, while Bukowsky led with two blocks and Anna Clair Winchester led with 10 digs. 

Up next for Union will be four matches in Durant, Oklahoma at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Classic, September 13-14.
