Before Union
Delaney prepped at Oswego East High School where she played four years of high school volleyball and six years of club ball. She was named the MVP of her high school team twice and was a two-time Southern Prairie Conference first team all-conference selection. She was named all-area twice by the Beacon News and was an Illinois Under Armor All-State honorable mention twice. Delaney set the school record for kills in a season with 313 and aces in a season with 57. She holds the second highest total for career kills with 561 and third highest total with 98 career aces. Off the court, Delaney earned recognition and high honor roll every semester, top 10-percent of her class, a member of the National Honors Society, National Science Honors Society, National Math Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society.
