JACKSON, TENN. – The Union University baseball team lost a nonconference matchup Tuesday afternoon against The University of Arkansas at Monticello. The final score of the game was 15-5. Union fell to 11-15 overall on the season and Arkansas Monticello improved to 14-13 on this years campaign.
Union was led by
Grayson Swanson who went 2-4 on the day with a double and homerun. Swanson also led the team in RBI with three.
Billy Beckham went 1-3 with a homerun of his own.

Jake Jewell,
Sam Galbraith, and
Ethan Orwig all combined for eight innings of work. Combined they earned nine strikeouts, allowing 14 earned runs on eight hits and 14 walks.
Up next for Union is a three-game GSC matchup against the Statesmen of Delta State University. The first game is set to take place Saturday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m.
