Before Union
Swanson transferred to Union from Oklahoma Christian University where he played 3 years of baseball. He helped lead the eagles to a conference tournament appearance. Swanson was on the Lone Star Honor Roll all three years. He prepped at University high school where he was a three sport athlete: baseball (4 years), Basketball (2 years), Football (3 years). His accolades include three-time all conference selection, 1st team all-state, 2018 Colorado 3A Player of The Year, Greeley Tribune Male Athlete of the spring. His senior year Swanson sported a .489 batting average, 1.079 slugging, 11 HR, and 52 RBI's.
