MEMPHIS, TENN. – The Union University baseball team completed the sweep over Christian Brothers with a one hit shutout. The final score of game three was 9-0. Union improved to 11-14 overall on the season and 6-8 in the GSC. CBU fell to 8-19 overall and 4-11 in league play.
Union was led by both
Patrick Music who went 2-3 with a double on the day, and
Carson Chavies who went 2-4.
Dorian Berry led the team in RBI with three after a sacrifice fly and a two run homerun to straight away center.
Sam McMillin started on the mound for the Bulldogs throwing four innings earning nine strikeouts. He allowed no runs on no hits and seven walks.
AJ Zeak was credited with today's win, he threw five innings earning two strikeouts. He allowed no runs on one hit and no walks.
Up next for Union is a nonconference matchup against the Weevils of Arkansas Monticello. This game is set to take place Tuesday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m.
