NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Union University baseball team lost 19-11 at Trevecca Nazarene University. Union dropped to 8-14 on the season, while No. 6 Trevecca Nazarene improved to 20-4.Â
Union scored first in the top of the first, but TNU took the lead with two in the bottom of the first. Union regained the lead again in the second as both teams scored twice in the frame.
Josh Bozoian and
Britt Netterville each had RBI singles early.Â
For the third time in the game, Union took the lead, this time with three runs in the top of the fourth.
Blake Barrett got the big hit with a 2-RBI single. However, Union gave up eight runs in the bottom of the fourth to trailed 12-6.Â
Union rallied with four runs in the sixth to cut the deficit to 12-10.

Caden Cutrell.Â
Union gave up another crooked number with five TNU runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth. Union added a single run in the eighth.Â
Fifteen pitchers were used in the game, including eight for Union.
Ryan Evans (0-1) took the loss.
Billy Beckham went two innings in the start.Â
Union outhit Trevecca 16-12 in the game with both teams committing just one error. However, Union pitchers walked 16 Trojans hitters, allowing for the five multi-run innings. Also, TNU slugger Roland Ryan was 4-for-4 in the game with three home runs and six RBI.Â
Union was led by Bozian with three hits (3-for-4). Five other Bulldogs had two hits each. Cutrell led with four RBI including a home run.Â
Up next for Union will be a GSC road series at Christian Brothers, March 26-17.Â
