CLINTON, Miss. - The Union University men's soccer team lost 3-0 at Mississippi College Friday night. Union dropped to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the Gulf South Conference. Mississippi College improved to 5-1-3 on the season and 4-0-1 in league play.
The game had a weather delay in the first half with MC leading 1-0. Play resumed, but the game was called in the 84th minute due to darkness.
MC scored the first and game-winning goal in the 11th minute of play. A weather delay stopped play in the 21st minute. Once play resumed, the Choctaws quickly added to the lead with a goal in the 23rd minute, and a final goal in the 38th minute to lead 3-0 at the half. That score stood.
Union was outshot 19-8 in the game, including 9-1 in the first half. Shots on goal ended even at with five each.

AJ Morgado led Union with two shots each. Union's five shots on goal came form five different players.
Euan Morton recorded two saves in his 84 minutes in net.
