JACKSON, Tenn. - Lee University defeated Union 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs are now 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Gulf South Conference. The Flames improved to 3-3-2 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. 

The game was scoreless until the 36th minute when Alfie Coldron scored for the Flames. The Bulldogs had seven shots on goal in the first half, but could not capitalize on their chances. 

The score at half was 1-0.

Union and Lee played evenly throughout the second half, and neither team was able to put a goal in the back of the net. 

Union out shot Lee by one with 16 shots. Union's Casper Nyberg collected five saves, and Lee's Tristen Putnem had seven. 

Up next for Union is a road game against Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. Friday, September 29 at 3:00 p.m.
