LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Union University men's basketball team fell 67-61 Saturday afternoon at the University of West Alabama. This was the fourth straight loss for the Bulldogs.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Union scored first and led again at 4-2, serving as the final lead for Union in the game. West Alabama took control and held a single digit lead for most of the first half. After a 4-point play by Jake Jobling with just over a minute left in the half, UWA's lead was pushed to 13, 34-21. Both teams swapped 3-pointers in the final minute, one from Union's KC Goodwin and one from UWA's Jonny Stallworth in the final seconds of the half.
- West Alabama led by as many at 16 points early in the second half, including 43-27 wit 15:38 left in the game.
- However, Union stormed back with a 17-1 run that tied the game 44-44 with 9:43 left to play.
- West Alabama in front of their home crowd regrouped and stopped the Union rally with another 3-pointer from Stallworth to regain the lead.
- Union got as close as one point, 56-55, following a 3-pointer from Tray Boyd with 2:05 left. However, West Alabama was 11-for-12 from the free throw line in the final two minutes to seal the 67-61 win.
