Mobile, Ala.- The Union University took the win over Spring Hill 3-1 Sunday afternoon. Union is now 3-4 on the season and 1-1 in Gulf South Conference play, Spring Hill moved to 1-4-1 and 1-1 in GSC action. The win marks the Bulldogs third win in four matches after starting the season 0-3.
Following a scoreless first half, it was Spring Hill that got on the board first in the 55th minute with a goal from Imbrahima Ndaw to take the 1-0 lead.
Union evened the score in the 73rd minute with a goal from
Paul Langford with the help of
Cole Asfour who earned the assist. Just five minutes later the Bulldogs took the lead on a penalty kick from
Henrique Loureiro. Union padded their lead in the 88th minute when Tomas Frishkneck netted a ball off the pass from
Rodrigo Zonta.
The Bulldogs continue their road stretch on Friday, September 23rd, at West Alabama before returning home for Family Weekend on September 30th to match up with Shorter.
