MARTIN, Tenn.- The Union University baseball team dropped their midweek contest with the University of Tennessee at Martin Tuesday evening 10-3.

UT Martin got on the board first in the contest plating a run in the bottom of the second inning on a two out RBI single giving the Skyhawks the lead.

UTM was quick to answer the homer from Holbrook in the next half inning with a three run long ball of their own from Tanner Wessling down the left field line. The Skyhawks followed that up with two RBI singles that moved the score to 6-1 after four innings of play.

UT Martin's Nick Pribble added to the home team's lead in the fifth with an RBI double that pushed the lead 7-1.

The Bulldogs cut the lead to four in the top of the sixth with Hayden Lewis launched a homer to centerfield scoring Tyler Mauzy to make the score 7-3.

The Skyhawks stretched their lead in the bottom half of the sixth with an RBI single and RBI triple plating three runs, pushing the score to 10-3.
