In the Bulldogs first match of the tournament on Friday, September 11, they opened with a 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17) loss to Emmanuel College. During the first set, Union and Emmanuel were tied 12 times and had five different lead changes. The third set of the match was much the same as the first with 11 tie scores and 6 lead changes. The Lady Bulldogs were lead by Casi Neff with nine kills, four service aces, and four blocks. Hannah Huguley lead with 27 assists while Elise Seufert leading the team in digs with 17.

Union took a hard luck loss in their second match of the day on Friday. Union was defeated by Bryan College 3-2 (25-23, 23-25, 16-25, 25-21, 15-13). The Lady Bulldogs kept the first set close tying the Bryan Lady Lions at 23-23, but the Lady Lions took the set on a kill and service ace. Union won the second set of the match led by Abby Shebel who had four kills and Deja Moorer with three kills. In the third set, Union and Bryan were tied 12-12 when a kill by Casi Neff lit a fire in the Lady Bulldogs. They went on an 8-0 run bringing the score to 20-12. The Lady Bulldogs ended the game with a kill by Ceciley Blanchard winning the set 25-16. Union came out strong for the fourth set leading the Lady Lions 17-14. They then took the lead, and won the set 25-21 pushing the Lady Bulldogs to a fifth set. Bryan came out with a 10-7 lead, but the Lady Bulldogs fought back to tie the game up 11-11. Bryan's last push won them the set 15-13, giving them the match win. Union was lead by Blanchard with 13 kills, Deja Moorer with nine blocks, Seufert with 17 digs, and Huguley with 39 assists.

On Saturday, September 12, Union dropped their first match against the Barton College Bulldogs 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-23). The next two sets Union found their footing, but it was not enough to take down the Barton Bulldogs.

The Union Lady Bulldogs ended their tournament Saturday with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-23) loss to Campbellsville University. All three sets the Lady Bulldogs battled hard, but were not able to overcome the Lady Tigers.
