Union University Athletics

Audrey Hazelhurst, a sophomore on the Union women's cross country team, was impressive in her first race of the season. Hazelhurst finished seventh in the Early Bird Cross Country Classic hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.. She finished the 5K race in a time of 15:31. In doing so, the former University School of Jackson standout, helped Union to a third place finish. Union was behind only DI Southeast Missouri State and the defending DIII national champion Washington Univ.
