Union University junior Kelly Robey has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Softball Pitcher of the Week. This is her first such honors on the season and is for the week ending March 23, 2014.

Robey posted a 3-1 mark on the week and allowed just one earned run in 25.0 innings of work. She had a pair of victories over 15^th-ranked North Alabama. The junior right-hander tossed a three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts against Hiwassee College before working all 20 innings in the three-game series at UNA. 

The New Madrid, Mo., native gave up four unearned runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts in a 4-2 loss in the series opener before defeating the Lions in each of the last two contests. Robey allowed just one run on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts in a 2-1 victory in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday and tossed a two-hit shutout in the rubber game of the series, walking two and striking out seven in a 2-0 triumph.

She is now 13-10 with two saves on the season with a 1.88 ERA and 193 strikeouts in 152.1 innings of work.
