Kelly Robey, a 5-foot-10 junior pitcher from New Madrid, Mo, was named the NCCAA National Pitcher of the Week. She pitched in all six games for Union University helping her team to a 4-2 start to the season. Robey was 3-1 on the week with one save. In three starts and three relief appearances, she tossed 29.1 innings, recording 39 strikeouts to just eight walks. All three of her starts were complete games. She allowed 27 hits, eight total runs, and seven earned runs.
