Before Union
Martin transferred to Union after graduating from East Tennessee State University with a degree in biology/pre-med. She spent two seasons at ETSU, playing one in 2016-17. Martin played in 15 games, averaging 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. She scored a career high 10 points in a game at Samford, and recorded a career high with seven rebounds versus Western Carolina. She sat out 2015-16 at ETSU after transferring from Eastern Illinois where she played in 27 games in 2014-15, scoring in 15 of the games. Martin prepped at John F. Kennedy High School where she played her junior and senior seasons. She led her team as a senior to the 5A Iowa State Title and was named third team all-state. She played her first two years at Quincy Notre Dame High School in Illinois where she helped her team win back-to-back state titles, also earning all-state honors. Off the court, Martin was Valedictorian in her high school graduating class.

Born September 11...daughter of Denise Martin and Sam Poe...has an undergraduate degree in biology/pre-med and is working towards a master's degree.
