Union University’s Amy Philamlee earned the National Christian College Athlete Association (NCCAA) Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week hnor and was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Player of the week after averaging 18.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in three games last week.

Philamlee, a sophomore guard from Jonesboro, Ark., recorded a career-high 25 points in Union's 77-57 win over Maryville (Mo.) University. In the win over Maryville, who is receiving votes in the NCAA DII polls, she hit 9-of-12 field goals including a pair of 3-pointers and handed out six assists. She netted 18 points with three assists and three steals in a 69-60 loss at No. 25 Drury (Mo.) University, making 11-of-12 foul shots. Philamlee posted 11 points and four assists at Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) as well.
