JACKSON, Tenn. - The Lady Bulldogs have returned to campus to set up for another season of GSC volleyball.
The squad is led by
Kristen Blackburn as she steps into her third season as head coach. By her side is Assistant Coach,
Basia Baker, who enters her inaugural season at Union University.
Baker comes to Jackson from Hannibal-LaGrange University, an NAIA school in the American Midwest Conference, where she was a head coach for 2 seasons.
The 2025 squad is comprised of 7 returners and 9 newcomers.
Of those newcomers,
Sydney Davis,
Elizabeth Gilbert, and
Ajahnaea Williams were named to the 2025 GSC Newcomer Watchlist.
Seniors
Marie Torosian,
Natalie Supine, and
Sydney Whittaker look to lead the Lady Bulldogs into a successful season.
Following the 2024 season, Union has received the 8
th position in the
GSC Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll with West Florida claiming the top spot.
Fans can look forward to seeing the Lady Bulldogs in action free of charge thanks to the generosity of FirstBank.
Union will begin the season by hosting the 2025 Union University Volleyball Classic (9/5-9/6) then conference play begins on September 23
rd with a road trip to Trevecca Nazarene University.
