JACKSON, Tenn.- Union University men's soccer concluded their season tonight in a matchup against the Trojans.
Union opened scoring in the 23
rd minute with a rocket from 
Christian Harjanne. This was the most action from either side in the first half, going into the second half at 1-0.
Trevecca opened the second half with a quick goal from Daniel Shiel in the 46
th minute. This provided the Trojans with the momentum to score once again in the 56
th minute. Jack Franklin was behind the goal, assisted by Shiel.
Union scrambled the rest of the match, making multiple attempts at goal. Trojans defense was able to keep them in the game, even stopping an attempt right on the goal line.
Noel Pataki scored the equalizer off a free kick, tying the score up 2-2.
Union still needed another goal to push them into the GSC playoffs. As the clock ran down to 00:00, the Bulldogs were unable to find another goal, leaving the score at 2-2.
From a bird's eye view, this match was second half heavy. 12 out of 17 Union shots came in the second half. The two teams were even in shots on goal at 8 a side. 
Luca Pereira and 
Aaron Gomez led the blitz in shots on goal at 2 apiece.
Patrick Schott played all 90 minutes and tallied 6 impressive saves.
Tonight's match concluded the 2025 season. The Bulldogs record for the 2025 season ended at 3-7-6 (2-6-3 GSC).
