JACKSON, Tenn.- Today, the Bulldogs took the road for a non conference match up against Mission University.
Scoring began in the first half with a flick from
Rich Rokodi-Phelps in the 18
th minute. This would be Union's lone goal for the first half. The second half opened the flood gates for Union goals, with
Finn Jacobs finding his footing in the 60
th minute, and
Noel Pataki closely following with a goal in the 61
st minute. Finally, Pataki would cap off the afternoon with the fourth goal finding the back of the net in the 82
nd minute.
The stats match up with the score. Bulldogs outshot MU 17-4 with 11 of those being on frame. Union also collected all the corner kicks for the afternoon (17).
In goal,
Patrick Schott earned a simple clean sheet, finding himself with 3 saves.
Union will return home next weekend for two matches against Alabama Huntsville (10/10) and West Alabama (10/12).
