JACKSON, Tenn.- Union University men's soccer team posted their first GSC draw against Alabama Huntsville. Bulldogs moved their record to 2-3-4 (1-2-1 GSC) and Chargers moved theirs to 5-1-3 (2-1-2 GSC).
The first half posed an even 6 shots per team.
Noel Pataki collected another GSC goal in the 32
nd minute following a shot on goal from
Ashanie Kennedy. Pataki found the rebound at the 10-yard mark in Charger territory, leaving the score at half at 1-0 in favor of the Bulldogs.
Chargers applied pressure in the second half with 10 shots, majority came from Oli Orzechowski. Pressure continued until UAH found the back of the net in the 59
th minute. Goal scorer Phillip Seifert was assisted by Samuel Quickfall.
 The equalizer was enough for Charger to avoid a loss.
Patrick Schott saved the Bulldogs from a loss in the 76
th minute putting his body on the line and making a show stopping save between the posts.
The match was foul heavy with Union receiving 9 and UAH receiving 8. Both teams were dished out 2 yellow cards aside.
At the final whistle, the scoreboard read 1-1.
Both keepers has their fair share of activity. Schott posted 6 saves for the evening and Huntsville's Sonny Wright collected 5 saves.
