BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Gulf South Conference has named Aaron Fynaardt the GSC Runner of the Week for week 7. This award encompasses performances from October 13-19.

Fynaardt navigated the Choctaw Trails at the Watson XC Classic with a time of 24:31.8 recording the second-best time in Union Men's Cross Country history.

In addition to his individual success, he helped lead the Bulldogs to the best team time recorded in Union program history. His consistency on the course has earned him his fourth award following his fourth race of the season.

The Bulldogs head to Memphis this weekend for the GSC Championship, where they will face off against the rest of the conference. Fans can follow along on FloCollege.
