BRISTOL, Tenn. - Union University women's golf is in first place after round one of the King University Invitational, a nine-team tournament hosted by King University in Bristol, Tenn.
Union's
Abigail Fernandez and
Brooklyn Verdugo are both tied for first overall along with Barton College's Terra Schmitt. All three of these golfers shot 72 (+1) in the first round.
As a whole, Union shot 300 (+16) on the day.
Camille Burnette and
Olivia Carroll are both T16 after shooting 78 (+7).
Cecily Berry shot an 81 (+10) and is T26.
Converse University (305), Emory & Henry (312), Belmont Abbey (314), and Tusculum University (315) round out the top five.
