Before Union
Burnette prepped at Fayette Academy where she played four years of golf and four years of basketball. She was named first team All-District twice in basketball, and was named to the All-Metro Girls Golf Team in 2022. She holds the Highest placement in a State Championship golf tournament in Fayette Academy's school history when she placed fifth in 2022. Off the course she was a member of the NHS, Honor Roll Member, and was voted the Chaplin of her NHS Chapter.Â
