JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University men's golf team ended their historic season on Saturday, finishing 11th out of 20 teams at the NCAA DII South/Southeast Regional (hosted by The University of North Georgia).
After climbing into sixth place on Friday, the Bulldogs shot +11 in the finals-deciding third round. The top five teams from the tournament and the top two individuals clinched a chance to compete for an NCAA DII National Championship.

Andy Rushing, finished their historic run a step shorter of a shot at a National Championship. This was the Bulldog's first-ever appearance at an NCAA DII Regional.
Daniel Maybee (T-5) led the way for Union throughout the tournament, narrowly missing a birth to the finals as an individual. Maybee finished -2 for the tournament after shooting a 71, 71, and 72.
