JACKSON, Tn. - Union Volleyball opened up their season in Tyler, Texas where they competed in the Patriot Classic. Union dropped two matches on Friday versus Southern Nazarene University and Dallas Baptist University by scores of 3-0. On day two of the tournament the Lady Bulldogs fell to Harding University 3-0 and University of Texas at Tyler 3-1.

As a team Union tallied 132 kills, 127 assists, 25 aces, 168 digs, and 12 blocks.
Davey Slaughter led the team in digs this weekend with 55 while also leading the team in service aces with 6.
Marie Torosian led the team in kills with 25,
Jordan Moore with 9 blocks, and
Gracie Tacker led all Lady Bulldogs in the assist category with 86.

The Lady Bulldogs will begin play in the Missouri S&T Classic on September 8
th in Rolla, Missouri. They will play in four matches versus Kentucky Wesleyan College, Missouri S&T, Lake Superior State University, and Emporia State University.

th versus Christian Brothers University.
