JACKSON, Tenn.—On Sep. 10
th, the Union University men's soccer team lost 2-0 to Missouri S&T.
The match was scoreless until the 68
th minute when Mike Banazik kicked a goal for Missouri S&T, assisted by Sigurd Semlitsch. In the 75
th minute, Derek Schlenker scored to make the game 2-0. Semlitsch got the assist.
Missouri S&T led in shots 23-4, in shots on goal 8-2, and in corner kicks 10-1. Union led in saves 6-2, and each team had seven fouls.
Tucker Cowles had two of Union's shots, one of which was on goal.
Ostian Bowen's one shot was also on goal.
Tommy Scahill played all 90 minutes in goal with six saves.
The Bulldogs' next game is the beginning of GSC regular season play at home against Auburn University Montgomery on Sep. 16
th at 6:00 p.m.
