JACKSON, Tenn. – The Union University baseball team lost their last home game of the season Tuesday afternoon against the Wonderboys of Arkansas Tech. The final score after seven innings was 13-0. Union fell to 13-29 overall on the season as ATU improved to 29-17.
ATU out hit Union 13-3 in today's game. ATU's Logan Schwenke contributed the most for his team going 2-3 with two home runs and five RBI.
Trey Frierson and
Alec Hardy were the only Bulldogs to have hits in today's game. Frierson went 2-3 with a double and Hardy went 1-2 with a double.
Mitch Sisk started on the mound for Union throwing three innings allowing six runs on six hits earning one strikeout. Three other pitchers threw in relief.
Up next for Union is their last conference series of the year. They will travel down to Livingston, Ala. to take on the Tigers of West Alabama. The first game of the series is set to take place Friday, April 28 at 5 p.m.
