Box Score Arkadelphia, Ark. – The Union University men's soccer team posted a 2-1 win over Ouachita Baptist University Sunday afternoon. With the win, Union improved to 2-0 overall on the season. OBU dropped to 0-1 on the season.
After a scoreless first half,
Ostian Bowen scored his second goal of the season in the 70th minute to put Union up 1-0. Not long after in the 74th minute OBU tied the game up 1-1 with a goal from their CJ Washington.
Stan De Vries scored his first goal of the season in the 79th minute in the game which helped Union lead 2-1, Matts Fredrikson was credited with the assist. Union's defense would prevail resulting in a final score of 2-1 after regulation.
Union outshot OBU 27-6 in the match, including 9-3 shots on goal. OBU edged Union in corners, 5-4.

Tommy Scahill played all 90 minutes and notched two saves.
