CLINTON, Miss. – The Union University men's soccer team dropped a conference matchup on the road against Mississippi College Sunday afternoon. With the 2-0 loss Union fell to 4-10-1 overall on the season and 1-8-1 in the Gulf South Conference. Mississippi College improved to 8-2-2 overall and 4-2-2 in league play.
Union was outshot 15-10 and even with MC each having four shots on goal. Corners were in MC's favor 6-5 and they also led in fouls 8-3.
Stan De Vries led the Bulldog's with three total shots.
Ostian Bowen also had a multi-shot performance recording two.
Botond Nemeth logged 90:00 minutes in goal recording two saves.
Up next for Union is their last regular season game. The Bulldogs will take on Christian Brothers at home. This match is set to take place Sunday, October 23 at 3:30 p.m.
