Union women's soccer falls at Harding

SEARCY, Ark. - The Union University women's soccer team fell 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Harding University. Union fell to 0-2 while Harding improved to 2-3 on the season. 

Union goalkeeper Bryson Lee made five saves in the first 45 minutes to take a 0-0 score into halftime. Harding scored the eventual game-winner in the 66th minute and added an insurance goal in the 81st minute. 

Union was outshot in the match 21-4, including 10-3 in shots on goal. Mathilde Bromose had two shots for the Lady Bulldogs while Sylvana Kempka and Lilly Ludwig each added one. Lee played all 90 minutes in goal and had eight saves. 

Union will open Gulf South Conference play next weekend when the Lady Bulldogs travel to Cleveland, Tennessee to take on Lee University Friday, September 17 at 6 p.m.
