VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Union University women's soccer team lost 2-0 Friday night at Valdosta State University. Union dropped to 2-9 overall and 2-7 in the Gulf South Conference. VSU improved to 7-3-1 on the season and 4-2-1 in conference play.
Both goals for the Blazers came in the first half. Bailey Hern scored in the 32nd minute, while Jocelyn Oballe added an insurance goal in the 37th minute.Â
VSU out shot Union 21-3 in the match, including 10-1 in shots on goal.Â
Hannah Patterson led Union with two shots while
Lilly Ludwig added one.
Bryson Lee played all 90 minutes in goal, recording eight saves.Â
Up next for Union will be a road match at the University of West Georgia, Sunday, October 17 at 12 p.m.
