JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University baseball team split a doubleheader with the University of Alabama in Huntsville Saturday at Femire Field. Union won the first game 8-3, then lost the second game 10-5. Union moved to 4-7 overall and 1-2 in the Gulf South Conference. Alabama Huntsville moved to 7-5 on the season and 4-2 in league play. 
UAH took Friday's series opener 5-0. 
Josh Bozoian started his monster day with a solo home run to left field in the second. Union added five runs in the third started by a 2-RBI double form 
Patrick Music. Bozoian singled to drive in a run and Noah Dominquez grounded out for an RBI. Then Garrett Guyman singled down the line for an RBI. UAH answered with a run in the fourth. Union responded when Zeitler was caught in a rundown at first, but stayed alive long enough for Music to score from third. Bozian homered for the second time in the game in the fifth. UAH added two in the seventh but Union took the 8-3 win. 
Walker Adkisson (3-1) earned the win, tossing 6.1 innings, allowing three runs on six hits with six strikeouts and two walks. 
Spencer Woods tossed the final 2.2 innings, allowing no runs and no hits with four strikeouts and one walk. Bozoian led Union with a 3-for-4 game with three RBI and three runs scored. 
In game two, Alabama Huntsville spoiled a wild Union rally with six runs in the top of the seventh to rally themselves and get the win. UAH scored two in the third and two in the fourth to lead 4-0. Union then added three in the bottom of the fifth. 
Josh Bozoian hit his third homer of the day, a solo shot to left. Then 
Ryan Lee smashed a 2-run homer to get Union to within 4-3. In the sixth, Union took the lead on back-to-back home runs. Bozoian's fourth of the day, then a shot to left field by 
Austin Zeitler. Then in the top of the seventh, UAH took advantage of a leadoff walk and later an infield error, scoring six runs, five unearned. Bozoian and Lee led with two hits and two RBI each in the game. 
Parker Shreve (0-2) took the loss in relief, tossing 2.2 innings and giving up six runs, one earned, on four hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Union used four pitchers in the game. 
Up next for Union will be a home doubleheader, Tuesday, February 25 at 1 p.m. versus Lane.
