MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Union University volleyball had three players earn all-tournament honors after its 2-1 weekend in the Christian Brothers University Invitaitonal. Union senior Abbie Rahn, sophomore Meghan Delaney, and freshman Jordan Vick each received honors.
The team went 2-1 on the weekend with wins against Kentucky Wesleyan College and Maryville University. Both matches being won in three sets. Union's sole loss was to Lynn University.
In three matches Rahn had 12 assists, averaging two per set. She also had 32 digs, averaging 3.56 a set. Delaney led the team in kills with 47 in three matches, averaging 5.22 per set. She also had 30 digs, averaging 3.33 per set. Vick led the team with 82 assists, averaging 9.11 per set. She also had 20 digs, averaging 2.22 per set.
Coming up this weekend in Durant, Oklahoma, Union has four matches scheduled in the Southestern Oklahoma State University Classic. Friday, September 13th Union will play the University of Arkansas at Monticello and East Central University. Saturday the 14th, Union plays Southern Nazarene University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
